谢光辉，号乐斋，1964年2月生，湖南益阳人，中山大学历史学学士、文学硕士学位。现任暨南大学艺术学院美术系教授、硕士研究生导师，兼任广东省书法家协会理事、广州市天河区文联副主席、天河区书法家协会主席。

从事艺术教育20多年，具有丰富的教学经验，在学术研究领域和书法篆刻创作方面取得了一定的成绩。主持和参与省部级以上科研课题4项，出版哲学、文学、文字学以及书法史研究等各类学术著作共9部、个人作品集2册，在相关专业刊物上发表学术论文数十篇。多次组织和策划书法展、书法联展及书法创作交流活动。

专业特长与研究方向：古文字学、书法篆刻史论、碑帖考证、岭南书印研究、海外书法研究，兼及书法篆刻创作。

硕士研究生招生方向：美学专业艺术美学（书法）方向。

Xie Guanghui

Professor of arts college and vice-director of college students arts quality education department of Jinan university. Member of Guangdong calligraphers association council, vice-chairman of federation of literature and art circle   of Guangzhou Tianhe district, and chairman of Tianhe district calligraphers association.

Born in Yiyang city of Hunan province in February 1964.Majored in archaeology in anthropology faculty of Zhongshan university and got history bachelor degree in 1985.Graduated from Chinese language and character specification of Chinese faculty in zhongshan university and got literature master in 1988.

Having been engaging in arts education for more than 20 years, so accumulated rich educational experiences and gained achievements in academic research and creation of Chinese calligraphy and seal cutting. Chief and participate in 4 scientific research foundations at national or provincial level. Having published tens of   papers in academic publications, eight academic works concerning philosophy, literature, etymology,calligraphy history,etc, and two collections of personal works.

Research fields: etymology, history and theory of Chinese calligraphy and seal cutting, stone inscriptions, study of Lingnan calligraphy and seal cutting, study of oversea calligraphy, creation of chinese calligraphy and seal cutting.
